Welcome to Mayvee ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website, platform, or services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don’t agree, don’t use Mayvee.

1. Eligibility

To use Mayvee, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You’re responsible for any activity under your account.

2. Our Services

Mayvee allows freelancers to create customizable payment pages to receive funds from clients, primarily in USD, with payouts in KES. We partner with third-party services to handle transactions. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue parts or all of the Services at any time.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and updated information.
• Only collect and receive payments for lawful, legitimate services.
• Not misuse client data or violate privacy laws.
• Keep your credentials secure.

You may not:

• Use Mayvee for illegal purposes (fraud, money laundering, etc.).
• Resell or exploit the service without permission.
• Create fake or misleading payment pages.

4. Payments and Payouts

We partner with licensed third-party payment processors. All payments are subject to their terms and fraud screening. We may deduct applicable fees before disbursing payouts. Payouts may be delayed, held, or reversed due to disputes or technical issues.

5. Fees

We charge a platform fee, which may be updated at any time. Users will be notified in advance of material changes.

6. Account Termination

You may close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or legal compliance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mayvee is not liable for indirect damages, downtime, third-party outages, or client disputes. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 3 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Services, violations of these Terms, or misuse of payment features.

9. Intellectual Property

We own the Mayvee platform, branding, and underlying tech. You retain rights to your content but grant us a license to use it for platform operations.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved in courts of that jurisdiction.
